Check out the best and worst looks from the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
Kelly Rowland
The former Destiny’s Child member gave the Grammys a touch of uber-glam in an Alberta Ferretti gown embellished with a silver appliqué on the bodice. For an added touch of sparkle, Rowland accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels on her ears and fingers.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow was captured looking sleek and statuesque in her Stella McCartney gown.
Kelly Osbourne
E!’s “Fashion Police” correspondent went glam in a sparkling gold one-shoulder gown by Tony Ward Couture.
Katy Perry
Katy Perry matched her Elie Saab Couture gown to her post-Russell Brand hair color.
Taraji P. Henson
The “Person of Interest” star strutted her stuff in a sequined pink-and-leopard print halter gown by Basler, which featured a plunging neckline.
Jessie J
For the “Domino” singer, who sparkled in a Julien Macdonald creation adorned with mirror-like appliqués and accessorized with a Lulu Guinness Perspex Lips clutch.
Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars looked as stylish as always in a gray three-piece suit, black skinny tie, and his signature, sky-high pompadour.
Paris Hilton
Paris looked quite sophisticated and chic in her beaded white-and-gold Basil Soda gown.
Carrie Underwood
Gomez-Gracia long-sleeve backless “Starlet” gown, which featured intricately-embroidered sequins, offset with a black Rene Caovilla clutch.
Diana Ross
The legendary diva -Diana Ross- who won a Lifetime Achievement Award -- jazzed up her pantsuit with blinged-out cuffs and a sparkly broach.
Adele
The queen of the Grammys, who won a whopping six awards, hit a high note in a sequined black Armani gown with three-quarter sleeves and Harry Winston jewels. Adele also strayed from her usual 60s-style bouffant and instead opted to sport a sleek strawberry blond ‘do and bright-red lips, which really perfected the entire look.
Corinne Bailey Rae
The British songstress -- who took home a Grammy for Best R&B Performance -- rocked a flouncy, chiffon Christian Siriano frock and big curly sideswept coif.
Rihanna
Rihanna took the plunge -- with her neckline that is -- at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night. The newly-blond singer heated up the red carpet in an extremely sexy black silk gown she designed herself along with Giorgio Armani. On her feet? Christian Laboutin PVC accented pumps.
Taylor Swift
aylor Swift slicked her hair back into a chic bun, which was the perfect understated ‘do to let her show-stopping Zuhair Murad mermaid gown do all the talking. She accessorized with Neil Lane earrings.
Kathy Griffin
The fiery redhead -- nominated for Best Comedy Album -- wowed in a ruched Michael Kors gown, which she accessorized with gold hoops and a gold cuff.
Giuliana Rancic
The E! host played it safe in a satin LBD with a sweetheart neckline. Giuliana accessorized her cute frock with a gold metal Georges Chakra Couture belt and matching clutch.
COUPLES
Flo Rida
The “Good Feeling” rapper channeled James Bond on the red carpet in a dapper white tux and black bow tie. And his date, who was practically busting out of her formfitting dress.
LL Cool J and Simone Smith
The Grammys host’s attempt at looking dapper on the red carpet would have been a success if his velvet tux didn't look like it was two sizes too big. At least LL’s wife found a dress that fit her perfectly. Bonus points for her bold green eye shadow and matching nail color.
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose
Between Wiz Khalifa's white-and-black tuxedo jacket, tats, and pot leaf necklace and Amber Rose's high-cut electric yellow Versace number and buzzed hair, the engaged couple was one to watch on the red carpet!
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
R&B singer looks pretty darn good in his brown suit and skinny tie, but we’d have to say his best accessory is his supermodel-fiancee, who heated up the red carpet in this high-cut dress.
Adam Levine and Anne V
The Maroon 5 singer and “Voice” coach channeled "Mad Men's" Don Draper in his gray suit, blue tie, and polka-dot pocket square. But while Mr. Levine classed up the red carpet, the same can’t be said for his Victoria’s Secret model-girlfriend, who wore what could be best described as half of a dress.
Ice-T and Coco
Rapper-turned-actor-turned-reality star Ice-T and his wife Coco came clad in black for the Grammy Awards.
Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz
The best-looking couple of the night, Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz managed to perfectly meld funky with glam at the Grammys. While the R&B singer vamped it up in an Alexandre Vauthier Couture fitted LBD with padded shoulders and a very ornate gold choker, her producer-hubby dared to rock a purple velvet blazer and matching bow tie.
...AND WHAT WERE THEY THINKING ????
Cyndi Lauper
Is Cyndi Lauper a vampire or Cruella de vil ? At her age - 58 , she still seems to be clueless in the fashion department. Sported a double-breasted suit by Jean Paul Gaultier, which featured chains and a daring slit. Black-and-blond hair completed her goth-like look.
Robyn
The two-time Grammy nominee opted for a plain white tee and high-waisted asymmetrical skirt that looked more like a giant napkin. If that wasn’t bad enough, she topped it all off with brown platform boots. She looks more like a factory worker - seems she left her helmet at home .
Snooki
The “Jersey Shore” star flaunted her svelte physique in a zebra-print dress by BB Addiction and bright white platform shoes. Unfortunately, she topped off her look with a big netted black bow. Who does she think she is -- Minnie Mouse?
Nicki Minaj
What was the rapper thinking when she stepped onto the red carpet in a hooded Versace cape embellished with the label’s Medusa head ... escorted by a Pope look-alike? Little Red Riding Hood? Ms. Minaj is known for her wacky sense of style, but surely the fashion gods were angry about this particular getup.
Sasha Gradiva
Sasha Gradiva flaunted her, um, interesting accessory: a “Terminator”-like machine gun arm. Though she claimed she was making a statement against war , yeah right - cheap way of seeking attention .
Fergie
The Black Eyed Peas singer gave everyone a peek at her black bra and panties thanks to her neon orange lace Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown. One word - Trashy
