GOLDIE RELOADED

Headlining Afro-pop star, Susan Harvey, who is well known and referred to as Goldie has upped her game in the Nigerian music industry by releasing her sophomore album titled “GOLD RELOADED” under the kennis music platform. One thing we can not ignore is her sense of style . Flaunting the Midas touch appeal, Goldie's wardrobe collection is as edgy as it comes . Her eccentricity has set her apart from the rest of the Naija Divas.She is proudly our very own Gaga .....Below are some images from her rare fashion moments .

After the release of her debut album , "Gold “ late 2010; an album that garnered her numerous awards and featured hits like “Don’t Touch my Body”, “JawoJawo” and “You Know it” a compilation of some of her best songs and hits, the foremost female pop star has decided to make herself one of the most relevant act with her recent move. The golden music act, who won the City People Award for the best female act, ELOY best female act and Best Afro Pop Female at the Nigerian Music Video Awards, seems ready to repeat her achievements in 2012.

The album is a 15 track masterpiece with deep lyrics and an upbeat tempo that would keep you dancing in the first 6 to 7 tracks. Thereafter, she slows the tempo a bit with a classic, one of my personal favourites off the album titled “Breathe Again”. Furthermore is a skit, then comes track 10 which is an ode to God; the boss of all... The album marks creativity and the showcases the mindset of a young confident girl finding her place in the world. It is a must buy.

Also featured are bonus tracks from the first album like JawoJawo feat Jaywon, Don’t touch my body and You know it Feat Eldee the don.

At the moment, several endorsement arms are talking to the naturally gold-coloured music act for an endorsement deal and if all is to be believed, she might be upstaging some popular music acts in 2012.

This prominent and yet brilliant music act has been able to weather the storm to become one of the prominent Nigerian female music acts.

 Yoanna Okwesa, also known as Pepper is a freelance Stylist and currently the Fashion Editor of FAB Magazine. Pepper has a BA Hons degree in Culture, Society and Communications from the University of Birmingham and works as creative director for runway shows, fashion editorials and commercial projects. Pepper also has a clothing label Purple Pepper Clothing borne from her love of art, her heritage and photography.When she is not art directing a photo shoot or fashion show she is alongside her sisters

Working alongside award winning Fashion Photographers Suby&Sinem and other sought after photographers Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Moussa Moussa and Asiko she has styled for Arise, BHF, Canoe, FAB, Pride, New African Woman and True Love Magazines. Her portfolio also includes styling celebrities Shingai from the Noisettes, M3nsa & Wanlov The Kubolor, Bez Idakula, Eldee, Keffe and Duncan Daniels and creative directing for designers such as Nkwo

and Zebra.

For some of us , she came to our consciousness with her unique style of All Black Everything . Its no little black dress for this fashion lover , rather she would pitch her tent in other clothing apparel departments even in make up.

.....And here comes the mother of Why We Love .....That Hair . Pepper pays enough to her coif LONG enough for everyone (including myself) to pay attention to it . No matter how simple it seems to look, Pepper has a way of twisting things up , sideways or down - its never the same . I wonder how long she sits to have them braids done ? I'm sure Patra or Ara can take a cue for braid redefinition .

 Ever smiling and warm Mai Atafo hails from Ora local government area in Edo state. Married to wife - Christine Atafo, Mai is the creative director of the label  ‘MAI ATAFO INSPIRED’. His sense of style is quite out of the box formal and adventurous hence Why We Love ......

Mai sets the bar high when it comes to men's fashion. His crisp clean cut suits and jackets sits perfectly on his lean frame. His collection of enviable brooches which sits boldly on the lapel of his suits or jacket scream ''style', unapologetically and adds a delicious twist to his outfit. Mai Atafo's style is not for the faint hearted and he's never afraid to mix and match.

Mai’s journey into the Nigerian fashion industry started with the establishment of the MAI ATAFO INSPIRED in 2007, specializing in Suits, Red carpet dresses and Wedding dresses.

His designs are versatile, timeless and notably classy. His clientele cuts across various fashionistas in the  fashion, beauty and entertainment industry. Some of which are: Omowunmi Akinifesi, Adaeze Igwe, D banj, Stephanie Okereke, Kemi Adetiba, Isio Delavega e.t.c.

He has also style major tv hosts for the Future Awards, Hip-Hop Award and the Soundcity music video Awards.

Mai Atafo is the style editor for Genevieve Magazine and the brand manager for Guinness.

 N stands for NEON and Mai is one of those few men who love to do a rerun on the color wheel.  As a fashion designer, this a a comfort alley for Mai to express his passion for clothes and colours and he has no doubt successfully achieved that thereby carving a niche for himself.  Apart from the bright coloured jackets, shirts or pants which he comfortably pulls of with class, Mai wasn’t afraid to make another fashion statement by wearing coloured shoes as well which is now a must have staple in a man’s wardrobe.

2010 saw her career really kick off, landing a the job as co-host for the popular show 53 Extra. Over the years, she has booked constant work as a presenter, hostess, model and actress. Most notably, She opened Big Brother Africa All Stars as IK’s co-presenter, was the host for Elite Model Look Nigeria 2010 and 2011, Red Carpet Presenter for The African International Film Festival, and most recently been cast as the lead, in the first ever Martini TVC shot in Nigeria.
