ZOHI TAGLIT is an upscale womenswear brand created for the sophisticated and contemporary modern woman, the label presents its 2018 Resort collection titled “LA CONQUERANT” and the inspiration is gotten from the confidence, beauty and passion of a contemporary woman.
Reflecting on the collection, the creative director, Samantha H. Dollar,  shares “As a mother, people and society expect you to look a certain way. The collection was made for women who want to be confident in their skin and wear clothes that reflect their inner confidence and beauty, regardless of how far they’re on this journey called life”.
For the collection, Samantha explores her fascination for the colour pink, a colour associated by most to mean femininity and fragility. She shows how the colour and its different shades can be interpreted to showcase intensity, tenderness and power that only a woman can exude.
Pieces from LA CONQUERANT also play with black and white shades which were infused in a way of drapes, tulle, swarovski stones, ruffles, lace and petals and they all reflect how this confident woman can transform her looks from work chic to an elegant lady for a night out.
With the LA CONQUERANT collection, the brand shows its commitment to its values of inspiring elegant women.

LookBook: Makioba Releases "Boardroom 2 Collection"

Hot off the heels of the much-loved boardroom collection 1, the second collection features less structured designs and instead goes for elaborately designed hemlines and sleeves with fabric extensions that drape below the dresses themselves.

As you strut into your workplace, the extensions beautifully flutter around you, announcing your presence to the world. Created to make women feel empowered and powerful in their own skin, the Lola dress will have you channeling your inner Olivia Pope with its bold shoulders and unapologetic waistline while the Boardroom SX dress brings some of that Oprah Winfrey vibe while maintaining its feminine appeal.

For the modern boss lady, the boardroom collection is the meeting between workplace-serious and everyday-bold.

Fondly referred to as the king of the Nigerian jewelry industry, his works have received critical acclaim and rave reviews in both local and international circles. ROYAL WEDDINGS: MILLINERIES, HATS TO LOOK OUT FOR

There’s still so much to do before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding! Between predictions and preparations, we are especially looking forward to the wedding guest fashion extravaganza and when it comes to royal wedding guest attire, fascinators are the most important accessory.
For some women it represents a status symbol or honoring tradition, for others it's pure fun. Depending on the event, there’s often an unspoken competition for best fascinator or headpiece, and that’s where the fun ensues. Some of my customers wear them as a form of self-expression, especially the more elaborate and artistic pieces. A great headpiece is like a fab pair of Louboutins.
Hats and fascinators are a high-society staple across the pond, but with an American as the bride, and many American wedding guests, will the accessory still reign supreme?

Princess Beatrice
The Princess' larger than life bow-motif hat paired perfectly with her Valentino suit and was a work of art that sparked internet memes worldwide, making her one of the most famous invitees at the nuptials.
