Chinonso Arubayi Launches New Lip Brand - Lookartme

 Make up artist and media girl - Chinonso Arubayi has just launched a lipstick line called -    LOOKARTME Lipvolution collection.

According to Chinonso .....“Within all of us is a beautiful light, we hope to give expression to that inner light using our choice selection of product colours. As a young girl,I was teased for having full lips but with LOOKARTME now I have evolved and I am confident to celebrate my features with make up knowing that I am carefully and wonderfully made”.
The brand looks beyond the superficial aspect of makeup and takes notes of the power it has on a woman’s psychology health. This aspect is very important to its founder;
“There is also the Psychological aspect of to LOOKARTME brand even when I am having a bad day (I have had quite a few)I apply makeup and my mood is lifted. It has helped me build a positive perception that I could be trusted with certain roles hence a personal mantra I quote quite often. Make up, your feelings will catch up”.

Don’t apply lipstick straight after eating, it cultivates bacteria-Make Up Tips

This is a question most people want to know, especially for someone like me, i used a particular lip gloss for 3 years because i liked the container. But why don't we tell ourselves a little truth, we all know expired products are not good for consumption, either food, house ware, or even skin products, etc. so, when does your makeup expire? Is it really okay that you’ve held on to the same lipstick for years for those rare occasions you need a bright orange lip? Pencil eyeliners don’t actually have to be chucked until you’ve sharpened it so much that it’s smaller than a pin right? And what’s wrong with keeping a blusher forever because nostalgia?

Throw it Away Now: Lipstick doesn’t hold much bacteria, so it can last between 12 – 18 months. Although lipstick and gloss are packed with preservatives such as parabens, essential oils and vitamins to ward off germs, these naturally start to break down after a year.
Expiry signs: Any beading of moisture, funky smells or chalky texture means it’s time to toss.
How to protect: Store your summer hue in the fridge. Keeping lipstick and gloss away from heat slows the breakdown of ingredients. Also, don’t apply lipstick straight after eating, it cultivates bacteria.
