ARISE African Icons Collection At the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Our African designers have once again done us proud at this year’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The designers include Tiffany Amber, Tsemaye Binitie, Ozwald Boateng, Maki Oh and Gavin Rajah

Tiffany Amber is all about prints, fluidity and the elegance that comes with it

Tsemaye Binitie has proved that sporty plus classy could turn into something very interesting and wearable even off the runway

Ozwald Boateng leaves us speechless with his sharp, impeccable cut and use of Ankara. Another trend he has opened up our eyes to is that men can as well wear bold colors without looking clownish.

Maki Oh’s collection is all about fringes and tassels on lovely tie & die prints, giving the wearer a deep sense of sexiness and adding a little rhythm to the body’s movement

Gavin Rajah is all about adding sparkle to bold, elegant pieces, giving the prints a whole new look.
