Bonang MathebaBosses Up On The Cover of Cosmopolitan South Africa!

 In an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan South Africa, Bonang opens up about co-hosting Global Citizen Festival with Oprah Winfrey and Naomi Campbell, balancing work and family friends, taking care of herself and her skin.
When asked about what advice she would give to COSMO girls, the multi-award winning media personality and business mogul had this to say;
We live in the era of social media – a world of instant gratification. We forget that it takes time to achieve success. It took 16 years to be where I am. It takes patience, perseverance, praying, focus, dedication and love. It takes being true and being patient enough to complete what it is that you’ve started. I always say it takes about four to five years to be successful because it’s true. I think the young generation needs to realise that, and go back and appreciate hard work – starting from the bottom and climbing up the ladder to get to where you want to be.

Tokyo James’ Spring/Summer 2019 Collection – “An Alien in Africa”

Menswear brand, Tokyo James recently  released the lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2019 collection which first debuted at South African Menswear Week earlier in the year.
In this interview with Elle, the Nigerian born designer shared that reuniting with his father and exploring his wardrobe was the main inspiration behind the collection An Alien in Africa.

 Interestingly ,  this collection is the infusion of snakeskin into the brand’s pieces, featuring carrier bags and tote bags emblazoned with the brand’s name and dangling tassels adding a little fun to the already one-tone bags.
 The emblazoned name on the snakeskin leather bags makes a strong case for the "logomania" trend which is currently huge on all the international shows this season. With each collection, Tokyo James seeks to reiterate its brand’s aesthetics while tending to the needs of fashion fanatics in dire need of his pieces.

http://officiallythehottest.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Chris_Brown_Keri_Hilson.jpg

Chris Brown and Keri Hilson are the latest artists to join Wilhelmina International. The singers are signed to the agency’s artist management division and not its modeling division as some outlets erroneously reported.

Wilhelmina will work with the singers to help them nab fashion and beauty endorsements and licenses. Translation: They help them find more ways to make more money by convincing their fans to buy products they endorse.

“Art and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with me throughout my career,” said Chris in a statement with Taylor Hendrich, director of Wilhelmina Men, adding, “Chris Brown is a…multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”
Keri also took to Twitter to clarify her relationship with the modeling agency.
“I am not a model. Nor do I aspire to be a model. I’m signed to Wilhelmina Model Artist Management division. Very excited about our new venture!!”
The company has repped everyone from Beyoncé to Cassie.
