Brown and Keri Hilson are the latest artists to join Wilhelmina
International. The singers are signed to the agency’s artist management
division and not its modeling division as some outlets erroneously reported.
Wilhelmina
will work with the singers to help them nab fashion and beauty endorsements and
licenses. Translation: They help them find more ways to make more money by
convincing their fans to buy products they endorse.
“Art
and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with
me throughout my career,” said Chris in a statement with Taylor Hendrich,
director of Wilhelmina Men, adding, “Chris Brown is a…multifaceted artist with
a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”
Keri
also took to Twitter to clarify her relationship with the modeling agency.
“I
am not a model. Nor do I aspire to be a model. I’m signed to Wilhelmina Model
Artist Management division. Very excited about our new venture!!”
