You have heard the whispers and yes, it’s official - Retrospective has opened its second boutique in Lagos’s Victoria Island! Those vying for vintage and routing for retro-wear in Nigeria are in for even more treats with the new Retrospective boutique branch now open.

The new boutique follows the success of the first, located in Surulere - home to the National Stadium and Nollywood movie industry. Opening its doors a year ago and officially launching in July 2011, the first store took pride of place as the first venue for an instore vintage shopping experience in Nigeria.

Retrospective has had the pleasure of welcoming vintage lovers, celebrities, stylists, treasure seekers and bargain hunters alike from far and wide, and now it opens a new set of doors on the Island. An extension of its predecessor, Retrospective’s new boutique in V.I, with its welcoming gold and white themed décor, characteristically charmed with retro memorabilia and nostalgic beats, will be another convenient treasure trove for dwellers in and around the Island to raid.

Visitors who enter the new boutique will have their fill of an even wider range of hand-picked clothing for men and women, both new and/or kept in mint condition from past iconic decades. Party dresses, sequins, designer shoes, western shirts, limited edition designer jeans, silvers, Celtic trinkets, brooches, cameos, Art Deco pieces, gemstone jewels, silk scarves, handmade tooled leather and skin bags, clutches, purses, belts, braces, ties and sunglasses - including designer-signed pieces - are just some of the gems waiting to be discovered.
