Popular OAP, Toke Makinwa has joined the league of  Nigerians in showbiz who blog, other are ace comedian Alibaba and rapper MI. Toke , as we all know is a fashionista, and we will be hoping to read posts about her fashion sense, beauty routine and all there is to know about this on-air goddess.
We however remember not to long ago, Toke urging younger generation not take people like blogger Linda Ikeji as a "role model". We hope her blog inspires and benefits the younger generation, so it wont be a case of the pot calling  a kettle black

MODEL OF AFRICA 2012 



Xa! Enterprises the organizers of Africa’s biggest male models search is set to break its own record with the forth coming edition of the competition which has been tagged the Dream Edition. With 20 outstanding models on the runway vying for Africa’s biggest male models title, up-to-date collection from some of Africa’s leading menswear designers such as Sheria Ngowi, Mai Atafo, David Wej, Mos amongst others and a long list of the who is who in fashion and entertainment the organizers say that one word which aptly describes this event is “Major”!  
The event which is billed to hold by 5pm at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotel on Sunday, the 14th of October, 2012 is proudly supported by Stesi Events, Vconnect, Grant London, James Brendan, Fab Magazine, Bella Naija, Ono Bello, The Beat Fm, Cool Fm, Stv and New Crystal Communications amongst others. The event is to be preceded by the 2nd Lagos Accessories Fair featuring leading Accessories brands such as Nichole by Haguanna, Riana’s Collection, Mona Matthews, Aimas and the award winning Accessories Designer Kamsi Tcharles.

Enterprises uses this medium to officially unveil the Model of Africa 2012 contestants and to formally launch the online Voting for the Title of Mr. Popularity which shall be carried out on the Model of Africa facebook group. Other award categories for this year include Mr. Runway Africa, Mr. Photogenic Africa, Mr. Fitness Africa, and Mr. Style Africa.
Preceding a line-up of exciting activities the contestants recently had their photo shoot with celebrated fashion photographer Hakeem Salaam.  The organizers use this medium to celebrate the press and to thank them for their support towards the success of the Model of Africa event.
