It has confirmed that the designer is opening his very first outlet store at New York’s Woodbury Commons on July 15 (that date is tentative so don’t plan your day trip yet). Most high-end designers have outlet stores to move excess inventory but it still seems antithetical to the Tom Ford brand. Ford likes to keep things very high class, very exclusive, and very, very expensive so we’re a little surprised he’s given in to letting the masses on buses have at his wares. But nice that he’s giving us a shot at being able to afford a pair of sunglasses.
