Calvin Klein’s new cosmetics line isn’t the first time the clothing company ventured into makeup, but it’s the first time in a long time.
Recently, the iconic ‘90s brand unveiled its new cosmetics collection, which is sold exclusively at Ulta cosmetics stores and Ulta.com, and it has the perfect color shades for the spring. In line with the mantra, “look real, define yourself, add intensity,” the 19-piece collection is rather simplified. The three-in-one foundation covers your bases as a serum, primer and face color all in one, with a bit of SPF to boost. The rest of the collection is mostly comprised of pastel shades of light pinks and corals, sea foam greens, blues, and purples, in-eye shadows, eye liners and blushes. These same colors are available in nail polishes and they all complement the fuchsia and soft pink lipsticks and glosses that are mostly sheer and translucent rather than bold and bright.
The classic black and white packaging isn’t as exciting as some of the brands on the market today, but a big plus about the line is items start as low as $13 for a lip liner, up to $32 for the water fresh foundation.
