Zhukkii Afro Designs (ZAD) created by Miss Azuka Echekoba who holds a Bachelor in Library and Information science,Diploma in management science, Diploma in pattern drafting and internship in fashion draping England. Her Summer 2012 collection Tagged EMOTION Showcased at the Nigerian Fashion week (NFW).
"Emotion is what drives us, anger, joy, happiness, heartbreak, pains ,love etc. Without emotion we are D.E.A.D. On our journey towards our destination we hug friendship. Excitement, disillusion hits us the next moment, then comes seduction,lust, distraction, Heartbreak, Pains, Betrayal, Fear, Depression... Emotion is more than a fashion collection. it’s a personal journey,all the apparel showcased is derived from every emotion listed above."
ZAD is a fusion of event and fashion company, the label was launched in April 2005, since then ZAD has participated in several shows like The Nigeria fashion show ,The Nigeria fashion week and has also packaged events as well as costumes for private corporate bodies and individuals like Stanbic Bank, Close up toothpaste, Miss tourism PH, Society for family health, TBWA concept among others.
Our vision is to build a strong clothing line that will be a foremost ethnic - retailing outfit built on the culture of quality. This she has achieved in her production of Ready - to- wear lines with outlets within Nigeria .
