TFESS PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP KICKS OFF IN FULL SWING: KELECHI AMADI-OBI, ADE PLUMPTRE, BODY LAWSON, ISAAC EMOKPAE, OBI SOMTO ACT AS FACULTY



On Wednesday February 15, Nigeria’s most progressive youth Development initiative, The Future Project kicked off the 2012 phase of The Future Entrepreneurial Support Scheme [TFESS] workshops on photography.  The TF-ESS workshop, which is run in conjunction with Kelechi Amadi-Obi studios, has as development partner Lighthouse Television and Filmworks.
“I am honoured to once again impart practical knowledge to some of our young talent in Nigeria, said Kelechi Amadi-Obi. “If the industry is to grow in Nigeria, it will be because of the quality of young, skilled talents that are available.” he added.
The faculty for the workshop includes a retinue of Nigeria’s best including Kelechi Amadi Obi, Ade Plumptre, Body Lawson, Isaac Emokpae and Obi Somto.  The curriculum includes basic camera knowledge and techniques and advances into areas like fashion photography, nude photography, event photography, portraiture and others.
According to the CEO of Lighthouse Television and Filmworks, Neil Oyenekan, “Lighthouse Television and Filmworks is passionate and committed towards supporting good causes that set out to develop the skillset of the youths in Nigeria for the better. The Future Project has proven over time to be a catalyst for positive change to young people in Nigeria. That is simply why we are part of this.” 
The TF-ESS photography workshop will run for 3 weeks, from February 15 to March 2, 2012 in a series of 9 intensive classes. The best student from the workshop will be awarded an internship.
